Banana Cinnamon Tea Cake

This recipe is sugar-free and eggless. It is healthy and a tasty option for people with a sweet tooth. You can call it “guilt-free indulgence”

Ingredients

  • For the Sponge
  • 1 Cup/ 150 gm Semolina/Suji
  • 1 Cup Mashed Bananas (Ripe)
  • 2 ½ Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract/Essence
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • For the Chocolate Ganache
  • 150 gm – Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate (55% Cocoa) – Can Also Be Made with Milk/ White Chocolate
  • 75 gm – Fresh Cream
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder – To Sprinkle on The Top

Preparation

Prep: 40 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Mix semolina with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Keep it aside.
  3. Take olive oil in a pan and add mashed bananas to it. Mix well.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  5. Add vanilla extract/essence.
  6. Add sugar-free chocolate chunks.
  7. Mix well to fold in the ingredients.
  8. Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins.
  9. Let it cool, add the sugar-free chocolate ganache.
  10. Sprinkle some cinnamon powder and serve.
  11. Tastes best when heated for 15 sec before serving.
