Ingredients
- 15 Bread Slices (I used leftover brun)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 3 Drops of Vanilla Essence
- A Teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder (Optional)
- Oil to fry
Preparation
Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 7 minutes
- Whisk the milk and sugar nicely in a bowl (large enough to soak the bread in later).
- Then add eggs and beat well.
- Once done, add cinnamon and vanilla essence.
- Soak a slice of bread but not for too long as it will break.
- On a hot pan, fry the bread nicely on both sides.
- Drizzle maple syrup before serving (optional).
