Classic Tandoori Mushrooms

Hosting a barbecue? Fire-grilled or Tandoori mushrooms beautifully coated with delicate and delicious flavours of the spices will make for a great starter. The juiciness of mushrooms and the seasoning is a combination to look out for.

Ingredients

  • 200 Gms Mushrooms
  • For Marination – 1 Teaspoon Garlic Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger Paste3tsp Dhaniya (chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Hung Curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Kasoori Methi
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Cornflour
  • Green Chillies (chopped)
  • A Pinch Orange Red Colour
  • To Sprinkle – 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chat Masala
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dhaniya Powder
  • A Pinch Orange Red Colour (Mix with Little Water)

Preparation

Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes


  1. Wash mushrooms and dry them. 
  2. Sprinkle all dry spices on the mushrooms and mix nicely.
  3. Now mix all marination ingredients in a bowl and pour it over the mushrooms.
  4. Put them on barbeque sticks and grill.
  5. Grill in a preheated oven on 180 degree for 15 minutes.
