The almond date balls are nutrition-packed and made with just a handful of ingredients to fulfil your hunger pangs. Whenever you crave for something sweet but healthy, these sweet balls are a delicious option as these are gluten-free. This is also a vegan recipe. Almonds are full of nutritional value and add crunchiness. Whereas perks of adding dates are, it helps to boost energy and its natural sweetness.
Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Almonds
- 1-1/2 Cup Dates (pitted)
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- Coconut (grated)
Preparation
Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
- In a blender or mixer coarsely grind the almonds.
- Then add the dates, peanut butter, cocoa powder, coconut oil and grind till all the ingredients are crushed and mixed all together.
- Make equal sized balls and keep it in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Roll the ready balls in toasted coconut and store in an airtight container.

The basic ingredients are just almonds, dates, and coconut oil. I also add some cocoa powder to give it a twist of taste and peanut butter which gives it a buttery flavour. Coating the balls in the grated coconut gives it a finishing touch.
