I come from a liberal Maharashtrian family where we discuss everything at the dinner table and our lives revolve around food. I started taking cooking lessons from my mom as a teenager but was not so fond of it. Slowly with time, my love for cooking grew fonder when I started getting appreciated for my cooking skills by family and friends. From making Kande Pohe for breakfast to making Cajun Spiced Potatoes for a cocktail party at home, they all have been a part of my journey. Cooking is like meditation to me; it relaxes my mind and soul. It truly releases some dopamine. But with my round the clock job as a digital marketer, I hardly had any time for regular kitchen visits. The lockdown period gave me more time to indulge in cooking and try new recipes. It has been a terrific journey so far.
