Dark Chocolate and Dry Fruit Oats

This one is for all the chocolate lovers and people who are bored stiff of the traditional oats for brekkie. This unique oatmeal recipe gives you that extra edge of energy and well-being that’ll keep you pumped and satiated all throughout the day.


  • 1/2 Cup Oats
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 100 gm Dark Chocolate
  • A Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 60 gm Mixed Dry Fruit (chopped)


Prep: 15 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes

  1. Add the milk and the oats to a saucepan and boil. Once the oats begin to swell and become stodgy, add the chocolate.
  2. Now make sure the mixture isn’t getting too thick. If so, add a couple of sprinkles of water and stir well.
  3. Then add half the dry fruits along with the cinnamon and honey. Serve in a bowl topped off with the remaining dry fruits. Enjoy!
