Hot chai and pakoda is a favourite monsoon snack in India. Made in different regions of the country, this traditional bhajiya recipe brings back fond childhood memories. This recipe is as easy and quick as it can get.
Ingredients
- Oil (to deep fry)
- 5-6 Tablespoons Gram Flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- Vegetables (potatoes, onions, green chillies, cauliflower, spinach etc.)
- Chaat Masala
- Salt to Taste
- A Pinch Baking Soda
Preparation
Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a dish, add water and make a batter which is neither too thick nor too watery.
- Dip the vegetables in the batter and deep fry.
- Sprinkle chat masala and serve.
