Someone rightly said ‘a balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.’ I always thought that baking cookies at home will be a tough deal. Getting that right crunch and crisp will take multiple takes. But guess what? This recipe never failed me. I bake these when I am bored of eating packaged biscuits or cookies. It always gives me the satisfaction of eating homemade coffee-time snacks.

- After 30 minutes, take a ball-sized portion and shape like cookies. Do not flatten. It will take the shape while baking.

- Preheat the oven at 180-degree and bake for 15 minutes at 180-degree. For no oven option place, this tray in a 10-minute pre-heated kadhai with salt/sand and bake for another 15- 20 minutes.
