Love paneer Tikka? This week I’ve turned my favourite roll into a salad! I love this salad, the flavours work so well together and it’s wholesome and filling enough for a meal too!
Ingredients
- For the Salad
- 1 big bowl of mixed lettuce, chopped roughly
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bowl of paneer tikka
- 1/2 red, yellow and green capsicum
- 1/2 red, yellow and green capsicum
- Lemon and salt
- For the Paneer Tikka
- 1 cup hung curd
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger minced
- 2 tsp green chili minced
- 2 tbsp tikka masala
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp besan / chickpea flour
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- Coriander as per taste
- 200 gms paneer cut into cubes
- Salt to taste

Prep: 5 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
- For the salad – Assemble the mixed lettuce in a bowl, add the sliced tomatoes, onions, capsicum, lentils and millets.
- Add in the paneer tikka and drizzle the dressing over the salad. Serve immediately.
- Combine the spices, green chili, ginger, garlic, besan with the hung curd and mix together until all the spices are incorporated.
- Add in the paneer and marinade for 1-2 hours in the fridge.
- Once your marinade is ready, in a pan add the mustard oil, slowly add in your paneer and let it cook for 5-10 minutes until the paneer is brown and crispy.
