Skinny Pesto Pasta

Making food wholesome & nutritious without losing its authentic flavour is always my motive. This skinny pesto pasta is not just delicious but hidden with so many greens in the sauce that you will relish it without knowing it.


  • For The Skinny Pesto Sauce
  • 5-6 Boiled Broccoli Florets
  • 8-10 Blanched Spinach Leaves
  • 10-12 Basil Leaves
  • 5-6 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • Salt To Taste
  • For The Pasta
  • 1 Cup Boiled Wholewheat/Quinoa Pasta
  • 6-7 Cherry Tomatoes Cut In Half
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Cheese (Optional)


Prep: 20 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes

  1. In a blender, blend the ingredients of the pesto sauce until smooth & creamy.
  2. Heat a wok with some olive oil, add the pesto sauce & saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add the boiled pasta & grated cheese. Mix well until pasta is nicely coated.
  4. Take the pasta off the flame & garnish it with cherry tomatoes. Serve hot.
