Spinach Tikkis

It is healthy, It is delicious. It can be prepared easily in a short time and does not require a lot of preparation. Not only kids but also elders are always reluctant in eating greens such as spinach, for them, it is the perfect snack. Also, the cheese stuffing makes is popular among kids.


  • Half Bundle Spinach
  • 1 Cup Boiled Chick Pea
  • 3 To 4 Spicy Green Chilli
  • 5 To 6 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Small Piece of Ginger
  • Cheese for Stuffing


Prep: 5 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes

  1. Blanch spinach for a min. Remove excess water and in a chopper add garlic, chilli, ginger chickpea ( soak, for 5 to 6 hours and take 1 whistle) spinach mix everything.
  2. Take the mixture to add salt to taste, garam masala, dry mango powder, chat masala, cumin powder and breadcrumbs (as per requirement) mix well and make Tikki. Cheese stuffing is optional you can add on top.
  3. Refrigerate Tikki for ½ an hour and shallow fry on low flame.
