Amidst the lockdown, we all are craving some scrumptious street food. This Street Style Dabeli is inspired from the streets of Kutch with a little hint of Mumbai, making it a perfect fusion to relish into your good old normal days.
Ingredients
- Sweet Chutney
- Red Chili-Garlic Chutney
- For The Dabeli Masala –
- 1 Cup Boiled Potatoes (Mashed)
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- Water as Required
- For The Garnish
- Grated Coconut
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Pomegranate Seeds
- Masala Peanuts
- Pinch of Salt
- Ladi Pav
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1/4 Cup Sev
Preparation

Cooking: 10 minutes
- Mashed Potatoes Mix – In the same pan heat some oil and add in the Dabeli Spice Mix and stir on a medium flame and add boiled mashed potatoes and mix it well.
- Add salt as required and then add water. Allow this cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame and transfer it to a plate and flatten it.
- Garnish with grated coconut, coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.
- For the Assembly – Slice the Bun-Pav to create a space in it. Then fill this with sweet chutney, chilli-garlic chutney, mashed potatoes mix, onions and masala peanuts.
- Heat a pan, add butter and roast the Dabeli with butter until crisp on both sides.
- Take the hot Dabeli and dip it into the Sev and serve on a plate with pomegranate seeds and masala peanuts.
