Triple Layer Sandwich

I was tired of having the usual sandwich. I made a layered sandwich with everything I had in my fridge and it’s quite filling.

  • 1 Tbsp Capsicum (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Paneer (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tsp Peri-Peri Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Processed Cheese (finely chopped)
  • For the Last Layer
  • 1 Tbsp Veeba’s Chilli Mayonnaise
  • 4 Tomato Slices
  • 4 Cucumber Slices
  • 1 Tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 Cheese Slice
  • For Instant Pasta
  • 2-3 Tsp Oil
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Veeba’s Pasta Sauce (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1 Cup Penne Pasta
  • 1 Glass Water
  • Salt to Taste

Preparation

Prep: 15 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes

  1. For instant pasta, in boiling water add some salt, a tsp of oil and add the pasta. Once cooked, strain the pasta.
  2. In a pan/kadhai, heat oil and add garlic cloves. Sauté until aromatic. Then add pasta sauce and mix everything. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. For the first layer of the sandwich, spread plain mayonnaise on a slice of bread followed by red sauce pasta and processed cheese. Then sprinkle some chilli flakes and grated mozzarella.
  4. For the middle layer of the sandwich, spread garlic mayonnaise. Then add onion, capsicum and paneer. Sprinkle peri-peri powder and lastly, spread processed cheese.
  5. For the last layer of the sandwich, spread chilli mayonnaise. Add tomato and cucumber slices. Sprinkle pepper powder and add a cheese slice.
  6. Heat a large pan/kadhai, grease it with butter. Place the sandwich from bottom to top layer pattern.
  7. Cover and let it cook on low flame for 7-8 minutes.
  8. Serve crisp!
