- 1 Brinjal (large)
- 1 Egg
- Salt to Taste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Chilli Powder
- Oil to Fry
- Breadcrumbs To Coat The Brinjal
Preparation
Prep: 5 minutes
Cooking: 7 minutes
- Cut the brinjals into 1-inch thick semi-circles and marinate with salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Set aside for an hour before cooking.
- Beat an egg and set aside.
- Heat oil in a shallow pan.
- Dip the marinated brinjals in the whisked egg, coat it with breadcrumbs in a separate plate.
- Shallow fry till nicely crisp.
