Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Soaked Chickpeas
- 3 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Beetroot
- 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 4-5 Ice Cubes
- Salt to Taste
Preparation
Prep: 20 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
- Soak chickpeas overnight and the next day boil in two cups of water for 5-6 whistles or till turns mushy.
- Let it cool down. Till then boil the beetroot and cut it into small pieces without the skin. Keep aside.
- Now grind the sesame seeds to powder.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend till you get a smooth consistency.
- The hummus is ready! Store it in the fridge for better taste.
