Jamun Sherbet

A must seasonal summer drink. This is absolutely an experimental drink, and surprisingly it turned out delicious. So our local fruit vendor delivered over ripped Jamun which no one at home was interested in eating. Hence made this Jamun sherbet. A quick and healthy drink that can be made in a jiffy!

Ingredients

  • Jamun- 1 Bowl
  • Roasted Cumin Powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • Sugar
  • Salt to Taste

Preparation

Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes


  1. There’s no fixed quantity of ingredients here, it all depends on the quality of Jamun.
  2. Firstly, remove the seeds and chop Jamun into small pieces.
  3. Blend them in a mixer to smooth puree along with ice, salt, sugar, roasted cumin powder and lemon juice. Adjust the number of ingredients as per taste, add water depending on what consistency is required and serve chilled.
