This is one of my favourite salads because it takes me back to my childhood days and summer vacations in Nagpur. My Nani would very often make it. I love its sweet, spicy and tangy taste. As we grew old, vacations were only during winters and raw mango is only available in the summers. Every summer, I would ask mom to make it and she made it the same way. Finally, I learnt from her and made it myself during this lockdown.
Ingredients
- 1 Raw Mango (grated)
- 1 Medium-sized Onion (chopped into small pieces or grated)
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder

Cooking: 10 minutes
- Peel, wash and grate/finely chop the onions.
- Peel, wash and grate the raw mango.
- In a bowl, add the grated raw mango and onion along with all the spices. Mix them well.
- Salt and sugar proportion can be changed as per taste if needed.
- Now add some fresh coriander leaves and serve.
