Wrap-O-Roll

It’s a quick prep recipe, ideal for when you don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. This is my version of a Wrap-o-roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup French Fries
  • For the Cajun Sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 3 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Pepper Powder
  • 2 Tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • For the Salad
  • 1 Cup Cabbage (Grated)
  • 1 Medium Size Onion (Grated)
  • 1 Medium Size Capsicum (Thinly Sliced)
  • For the Dressing
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Inch Ginger
  • 4-5 Sprigs Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • For the Tortillas
  • 2 Cups Corn Flour (Makai Ka Atta)
  • 1 ½ Water
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Preparation

Prep: 30 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes

  1. To prepare cajun sauce, add all the ingredients (mentioned under cajun spice) in a bowl and mix well. Keep it in the refrigerator for chilling.
  2. To prepare the salad, put all the ingredients for dressing in a mixer and blend well. Pour it over the vegetables for the salad and allow it to rest for a while.
  3. To prepare the tortillas, mix all the ingredients and prepare a dough.
  4. Place a plastic sheet and grease it with oil. Take a dough ball, place another plastic sheet over it and roll into a chapati/thin puri of about 4″ diameter.
  5. Cook over a tawa until the tortilla is brown on both sides.
  6. To assemble, take a tortilla, spread cajun sauce over it. Add fries and drizzle some cajun sauce. Add salad over the French fries.
  7. Wrap the Tortilla with a butter paper/ pierce a toothpick to hold the wrap.
